WARRANTY

Infosec offers to register the warranty on your product online. You can register on this page right now. However, if you encounter a technical problem with your product, simply request after-sales service for a product under guarantee via the Customer Services/Hotline section by clicking here.

These warranty conditions supersede all previous warranty conditions.

SCOPE OF THE WARRANTY :

• Infosec products are guaranteed for manufacturing defects, and also for any material flaws that may adversely affect the quality of protection. The part acknowledged as being defective by INFOSEC Communication will, at INFOSEC's own convenience, be replaced or repaired free of charge.
• The warranty shall not apply in the following situations: natural disasters, water damage, electrical damage (power surge, overload, lightning, etc.), misuse or improper use, accident due to shipping or moving equipment, non-compliance with the commissioning instructions, failure to adhere to the rated power (excessive overload), modification or adaptation of parts or accessories which are not first fit, repair outside our workshops or those of our dealers.
• The guarantee may not, under any circumstances, hold INFOSEC Communication responsible or give rise to any request whatsoever for compensation or punitive damages.
• For UPS devices (photovoltaic or not), the factory warranty only applies to the UPS unequivocally defined by the serial number. The other system components (photovoltaic or not) as well as extensions by adding optional boards are excluded from coverage. (They have a separate warranty period of their own).
• Used or marked down equipment, or used equipment repairs, are always supplied without a guarantee.
• The exchange, repair or modification of a part during the guarantee period will not result in extending the said period. In the event of equipment exchange, the remaining warranty period is transferred to the replacement device. Infosec Communication will automatically register your product and you will not receive a new certificate.
• Given the specific nature of IT equipment, the company may not, under any circumstances, be responsible for damages incurred by the hardware, software or computer data, regardless of the medium. This exclusion also applies to any direct or indirect consequences borne by the purchaser due to breakdown caused by computer equipment.
• Infosec Communication cannot be held legally liable for damages caused to third parties or equipment if the Infosec products are not properly installed and used according to current standards and in compliance with the safety instructions contained in the product installation manual. The same applies if maintenance operations are not conducted in accordance with the manual's instructions.
• For certain product references, where specified on the packaging and instructions, insurance for connected equipment can be taken out free of charge by the buyer on the website www.infosec.fr. Apart from these specific cases, Infosec Communication may not be held responsible beyond the UPS purchase value.

For photovoltaic UPS devices:

• The installer initially selected by the final customer shall perform the maintenance operations on site. (Should the aforementioned installer not honour his obligations, it is up to the end user to choose another).
• The installer's travel and accommodation expenses as well as assembly and installation costs are not covered by the warranty.
• Due to technical progress, the replacement unit or a similar new device may not be compatible with the surveillance system or with other components already installed on site. The resulting expenses and cost are not covered by the warranty.
• No compensation will be paid for additions not made to the network or own consumption not carried out, or otherwise.
